Ascot Lloyd is a leading independent financial advisory firm, providing wealth management and financial planning services to clients across the UK. As a regulated business, it must adhere to strict compliance standards while ensuring timely and effective communication with clients.

In response to the growing demands of Consumer Duty and the increasing complexity of its internal processes, Ascot Lloyd replaced its spreadsheet-based approach with bethebrand’s compliance workflow system, all augmented by SeeDynamic’s automated content review capabilities.

The Challenge

Before adopting bethebrand, Ascot Lloyd managed marketing compliance through a combination of spreadsheets and shared folders. As the business has grown and the volume and complexity of communications increased, the team needed clearer oversight, stronger version control and a more consistent way to track approvals end to end.

Our Solution

To meet the tight timeline of an upcoming rebrand, the platform was rolled out via a soft launch, supported by weekly project calls and live testing. Training was delivered at pace, with user feedback informing refinements to the onboarding experience.

As part of the project, Ascot Lloyd also deployed SeeDynamic, bethebrand’s automated compliance content review platform. Designed to accelerate approval cycles and improve first-time accuracy, SeeDynamic and scans documents for readability, regulatory wording, barred terms and missing disclosures. Ensuring marketing teams can submit content to compliance with confidence.

SeeDynamic automates compliance checks for common errors such as:

  • Missing mandatory footers or product disclaimers
  • Barred or restricted words (e.g. “cheapest”)
  • Out-of-date contact information
  • Font and format compliance
  • Readability scoring and clarity guidance

At launch, Ascot Lloyd used SeeDynamic primarily to check content and regulated language. Initial false positives (triggered by fixed-page scanning) were quickly resolved by adjusting the rules to review entire documents. This significantly improved output and reduced noise in reporting.
